Great Stuff to Do

You can charter fishing trips for onshore and offshore fishing, or take tours of surrounding islands. You'll find great little shops plus parasail and kayak rentals. Stop and eat at the Morgan Creek Grill and enjoy a fantastic view of the Intracoastal Wateray and lowcountry marshes.

Tidalwave Watersports: Charter a parasailing excursion, rent a couple of waverunners (jet skis), schedule wakeboarding and waterskiing trips, or take the family for a fast, fun (and wet!) banana boat ride.

Barrier Islands Eco Tours - Take the Capers Island Wildlife Exploration tour for a half-day of incredible sightseeing. Watch dolphins, turtles, shark and pelicans, with tour guides that love what they do and are experts on sharing what they know. Perfect for kids, parents, grandparents. They'll beach the boat at Capers Island, known as "bone-yard beach" for its amazing landscape of drift wood and fallen palm trees. For a full day trip, go on the Island Excursion and explore the surrounding barrier islands.

Pedal the Island: Go biking all over Isle of Palms on bike paths that run throughout the island. Pedal along the wide beaches, or travel across the 2-mile bridge (with a marked bike path) crossing the marshes and the Intracoastal Waterway.

Golf at Isle of Palms South Carolina: Play Golf ... at two championship golf courses - The Harbor Course and The Links. You'll play your best on beautiful rolling fairways surrounded by sand dunes and saltwater marshes.

Great Nightlife: There's plenty of beach-flavored action once the sun goes down. Excellent restaurants, famous beach bars, with Charleston just a short drive away. Don't miss Windjammer nightclub right on the beach with a big open deck and delicious food - you just might see a big name band perform!
